Li, Thamvichai and Novosel Win at 2023 College Awards

The 2023 College of Engineering staff and faculty awards recognized achievements in the realms of teaching, leadership and other areas. In addition to celebrating outstanding work, the 11 staff and faculty awards totaled $15,500. 

ECE Associate Professor and University Distinguished Scholar Ming Li won the faculty award for Doctoral Dissertation Advisor/Mentor. 

ECE Professor of Practice Ratchaneekorn “Kay” Thamvichai won the faculty award for teacher of the year for career track faculty. 

ECE Marketing Information and Data Coordinator Susan Novosel took home the award for innovation and problem-solving. 

“It’s a pleasure to see many well-deserved nominations,” said College of Engineering Craig M. Berge Dean David W. Hahn. “Every day, our staff and faculty uphold the college’s values in ways that matter. It’s important to devote time and attention to appreciating these efforts.”
