Graduate Funding
Funding is available throughout the lifecycle of your degree program. Many UA Engineering graduate students are supported by teaching or research assistantships that pay tuition and a stipend, plus there are a number of fellowship and scholarship opportunities through the University and partner organizations.
Among the many sources of graduate school funding are the following:
- ECE Graduate Student Research Opportunities (PDF)
- NSF Graduate Research Fellowships: Highly competitive three-year fellowships up to $120,000 for STEM
- National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowships: $93,000 over three years, plus all tuition and fees
- GEM Fellowship Program: $16,000 a year plus additional stipends and tuition (for underrepresented minority students)
- University of Arizona Graduate Diversity Programs: a number of funding options
