The University of Arizona's online degree programs earned top marks in the 2026 Best Online Bachelor's Programs rankings recently released by U.S. News & World Report. Arizona Online received its sixth consecutive top 15 ranking for Best Online Bachelor's Programs, placing it in the top 5% out of 348 ranked programs. Arizona Online also ranks No. 9 in the publication's Best Online Bachelor's Programs for Veterans.

The College of Engineering offers several online programs that tied for No. 24 overall and No. 16 for veterans. These graduate degrees include an MS in Computer Science and Engineering, an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and an MS and PhD in Software Engineering.

"Arizona Online's consistent position near the top of these rankings in multiple areas of study reflects the University of Arizona's rigorous academic standards across both main campus and online settings as well as our unwavering dedication to supporting students throughout their academic and professional journeys," said Gary Packard, interim senior vice provost for online initiatives.

Arizona Online's computer information technology graduate programs – which include information systems, computer science, computer engineering and software engineering – ranked tied for No. 6 overall and No. 4 for veterans.
