Potter on Making Fiber Optics for the Toughest Environments
Dec. 13, 2019
ECE professor Kelly Potter, who holds joint appointments in materials sciences and optical sciences, is researching ways to make fiber optic materials tougher than the environment that surrounds them. She's studying fiber optic samples that were sent into Earth orbit and back to understand how to optimize resiliency in space.
Listen to the details in a recent interview with Leslie Tolbert, Regents Professor Emerita, on Arizona Public Media's Arizona Science radio show.
