Paul Gray Inducted to the College of Engineering Hall of Fame
Paul R. Gray, who earned bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona, was inducted into the College of Engineering's Hall of Fame for 2023.
Gray was a member of the National Academy of Engineering and served as the chair for electrical engineering and computer sciences at UC Berkeley. He was also a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Gray was the author of many seminal textbooks, one being an analog circuits text, together with Robert G. Meyer.
"At a time where analog circuits and chip fab are coming back to be produced in the US, is also a great time to celebrate Paul Gray," said ECE professor and Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs and Inclusion Kathleen Melde. "He is known for exceptional leadership at UC Berkeley, also during a time of remarkable change and growth in engineering technology. We are exceptionally proud to induct him into the College's Hall of Fame. A shining star for UArizona ECE."
