KGUN-9 Tucson interviewed Engineering students for a video segment about the Wildcat Formula Racing club.
On June 30, reporter Dan Spindle spoke with Aidan Brown, an ECE major, and Cooper Graf, a junior studying aerospace and mechanical engineering, about preparations for the 2025 Formula SAE Competition. In May, they competed with their open-wheel, single-seat vehicle.
"Judges basically go over every single aspect of the car and judge us on how well it was thought up, designed and then actually implemented," Brown told KGUN-9.
The full video segment showed the WF25 – their racing vehicle – in action, passing the technical inspection at the competition.
