Distinguished Alumni to be acknowledged:
Shashi Kiran Chilappagari, chief architect at DeGirum Corporation, received his ECE Ph.D. in 2008 under the direction of professor Bane Vasic.

Parthasarathy Sriram, chief systems software architect for Video Analytics Platforms and VP of engineering at NVIDIA, received his ECE Ph.D. in 1993 under the direction of regents professor Michael Marcellin.
