ECE Team Members Take Top Awards at 2015 Design Day

About 400 seniors on 77 multidisciplinary teams showcased a wide range of projects at the 13th annual UA Engineering Design Day on May 6, 2015.
Electrical and computer engineering students on 15 interdisciplinary teams took home awards, including the first and second place overall team design awards. Prize money for teams with ECE contributions totaled more than $13,000.
Winning projects ranged from a robot capable of detecting and detonating improvised explosive devices to a smartphone integrated gun lock.
