ECE Graduate Student Named University Fellow
ECE graduate student Joshua Mack – who, as an undergraduate in 2017, was named an outstanding senior – was selected for the 2018-19 cohort of the University Fellows program.
“It's a tremendous honor to have received this award,” Mack said. “I wouldn't have made it this far without a wonderful support network of family and friends, and I'm looking forward to making the most of my time back here at the UA.”
The program, now in its fifth year, has a simple premise: recruit stellar graduate students through a combination of competitive funding, professional development, focused mentoring and community engagement. The fellows represent fields across the arts, sciences, humanities and social sciences.
Mack is interested in the intersection of high-performance computing and reconfigurable systems, emerging architectures, and intelligent and autonomous workload partitioning across heterogeneous systems.
