Description
The study of intelligent agents is a great part of the study in Artificial Intelligence. An intelligent agent could be anything that makes decisions, as a person, firm, machine, or software. It carries out an action with the best outcome after considering past and current percepts. This seminar will explore the basic concepts of the Intelligent Agents, their architecture and their implementation in the Context-Aware Systems and other applications.
Biography
Diana Saldana is an assistant professor in Applied Computing and Computer Science at the University of Arizona since 2019. In 2008, she graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Baja California (UABC) where she got her bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and her master’s degree in science (2011). In 2013, she joined the Engineering Department as a full-time professor at UABC. In 2016, she graduated from Universidad de Tijuana where she obtained her doctorate degree. Currently, she is the program director of Computer Technologies in UAZ Yuma and faculty research fellow in the MA{VR}X Lab in CAST and co-advisor of the WEST Club in Arizona Western College.
