Course Description

This is a graduate-level course focusing on advanced concepts in Information and Network security, and is intended for Master or Doctoral students who are interested in doing security research or pursuing a career related to security. Main topics of interests include: advanced cryptographic techniques, formal security analysis methods, and their applications to security and privacy in NextG wireless and mobile networks, and distributed systems (such as Blockchain). This course is structured as a combination of traditional lectures and seminars (paper presentations/discussions). At the end of this course, students will have a broad knowledge of the state-of-the-art and open problems in Information and Network security, thus enhancing their potential to do research or pursue a career in this rapidly developing area.
