Jeffrey J. Rodriguez

  • Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering

Jeffrey Rodriguez served as general chair of the 2016 IEEE Southwest Symposium on Image Analysis and Interpretation, general chair of the 2007 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing, and on the organizing committees for numerous other technical conferences. 

He has served as associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Image Processing and on the IEEE Signal Processing Society Technical Committee on Image, Video, and Multidimensional Signal Processing. He is a senior member of the IEEE and a member of the engineering honor societies Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi.

  • MS: Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 1986
  • BS: University of Texas at Austin, 1984

Teaching Interests

Digital signal processing, digital image processing, digital image analysis, circuit theory.

Research Interests

Signal-image-video processing and analysis, with particular emphasis on automated image analysis.
