Gregory Ditzler

  • Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering

An assistant professor in electrical and computer engineering, Gregory Ditzler performs research in data mining and applied machine learning. In 2015, he received his PhD from Drexel University and, in the same year, was named recipient of the Drexel Graduate Research Excellence Award. Two years prior, during summer 2013, Ditzler worked at AT&T Research in a language modeling group.

He is the recipient of the 2014 IEEE/INNS International Joint Conference on Neural Network Best Student Paper. Most recently, he was awarded a U.S. Air Force Research Lab Summer Faculty Fellowship for 2016.

Ditzler is a graduate of both Rowan University (2011) and Pennsylvania College of Technology (2008), and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, and Association for Computing Machinery.
